Over thirty years ago, Charlotte native Terry Robertson started his career as a funeral director at Harry and Bryant Company, then the city's most distinguished funeral home. In 2007, he founded Robertson Funeral & Cremation Service, a family - owned funeral establishment in Charlotte. Robertson Funeral & Cremation Service became the first firm in Charlotte to provide transparent pricing directly on their website. They were also one of the first firms to offer to come to the family’s residence to make arrangements.
In 2020, Mr. Robertson founded Kings Mountain Preserve (www.kingsmountainpreserve.com), Charlotte area’s first conservation green cemetery offering an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional burials. In 2023, Terry founded Charlotte Aquamation (www.charlotteaquamation.com), Charlotte’s first aquamation service offering an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional cremations.

We are now the only family-owned funeral home in South Charlotte, and my staff and the families we serve are like family to me.
