Description: Brakefield is nestled atop a wooded bluff overlooking the Catawba River. With its old-world European warmth and sophistacated charm, the unique architectural design invokes a feeling of "home" while old-world decor gives the venue a slight medieval feel upon entry and throughout. The Great Hall is nearly 3,000 square feet. During warmer months, events can be held on the 1,200 square foot covered Loggia. The Carriage House provides a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that feels like home with a cozy gas log fireplace, seven windows featuring calming views, and an in-house audio/video system.
